Digital Radiography which uses a special software (CDR), is an advanced technique where instead of plain film, an electronic device is used & the image is saved in a computer. The image can be viewed on the computer screen whenever required. Minute defects in the exposure parameters can be rectified using the software. The main advantage of this technique is minimum X-ray exposure.

The department is also equipped with an intraoral camera which can be used to take the photographs of various lesions and the images can be stored in the computer that helps in educating the patients.
